Tanzania Telecommunications company Limited Board of Directors confirmed Dr. Kamugisha Kazaura as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company effectively from yesterday.
Dr. Kazaura replaces Mr. Said Amir Said who had been an Acting CEO and reached his retirement age recently.
Before his appointment, Dr. Kazaura was TTCL’s Chief Technical officer (CTO). The Board of Directors calls upon all TTCL Staff and Management to give support to the new CEO and to build team spirit and to commit to reinvigorate the TTCL, bring efficiency and increased cost effectiveness and take the Company to much higher heights.
The Board emphasizes by saying “let us move forward together as a united team and committed to promoting good Governance, transparency and inclusiveness.”
Dr. Kamugisha Kazaura (42) holds Master and a PhD of Science degree in Information and Telecommunications Studies from the University of Waseda, Tokyo-Japan.
