During the reception which was attended by approximately 500 people including Tanzanian government, business and cultural leaders, members of the diplomatic corps and other guests, Ambassador Lenhardt thanked his guests for the friendship and partnership they have extended to him and his team for the past four years adding that he was especially proud that President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama visited Tanzania early this month to personally convey America's message of friendship with Tanzania.
